HOW TO INSTALL THE UPDATE

  • Close BenguFarm
  • The file must be downloaded as usual to your computer, i.e.: Right Click on the update link and select "Save Target As..." or "Save Link As...". A dialog will open where the user can select where the update file must be saved to. The easiest will be to select "My Documents". Once the save to location is selected, click on "Save" to start downloading the file. If Windows gives you a Discard or Keep option when starting to download the update file, select Keep. If your computer still does not allow you to download the file, de-activate your computer's anti-virus temporarily and try again. Do not go to any other web-pages while your anti-virus is de-activated.
  • Once the download has completed, the self-extracting zip file must be run. Select "Run" from the "Download Complete" dialog. (The download complete dialog is displayed by the web browser once the file download has completed.). Windows may give a security warning and ask the user whether the file must be run or not. Select "More Info" and/or "Run" / "Run Anyway" to run the update file.
  • The update will automatically search for the BenguFarm installation folder and update all the necessary files. Just wait until the "Update Installed" message is displayed. Click OK to close this message. Remember to activate your anti-virus again in case you have temporarily de-activated it.
  • Open BenguFarm and check if the correct version is indeed installed. (Version info is displayed at the top of the main window.)

To see what has been added and changed in BenguFarm, go to Downloads > Newsletter. Select the latest newsletter and look for the "What’s New" section.

Download and Install BenguFarm (TM) MOBILE 21 November 2024 Update

Please note that BenguFarm MOBILE is developed to run on Android devices running Android LolliPop (Android 5) and later. It is to be used side-by-side with BenguFarm BEEF and SHEEP & GOATS. There is a separate app for users of BenguFarm GAME (see below).

Download and Install

Step 1: Download the BenguFarm MOBILE Android APK Installer File to your Android Smartphone or Tablet

Step 2: Install BenguFarm MOBILE

Long click on the downloaded BenguFarm MOBILE apk file. Your browser will bring up a menu. Select Download link. Once download, click on the downloaded installer file to install BenguFarm MOBILE.
At this stage the smartphone or tablet should be set to accept "Unknown Sources - All installation or apps from unknown sources". This should be able to be done under Settings > Security on a smartphone. Once BenguFarm MOBILE is installed, disable the "unknown sources" setting again on your smartphone/tablet. Newer versions of Android may also ask onscreen approval before it will install the app.

This version op BenguFarm MOBILE should be used with BenguFarm 29 January 2024 (V) or later.

 

Download and Install BenguFarm (TM) MOBILE for GAME v22 Junie 2023 Update

Please note that BenguFarm MOBILE for GAME is developed to run on Android devices running Android Oreo (Android 8.0) and later.

Tap on the downloaded BenguFarm MOBILE for GAME apk file to install BenguFarm MOBILE for GAME.
